About

cutfoto is a set of free image tools that run entirely in your browser: background removal and replacement, passport photos, compression, conversion, resizing, cropping and watermarks.

Privacy first

Your images are never uploaded. The background-removal AI runs locally (WebGPU or WebAssembly), so there are no queues, limits or accounts.

Technology and licences

Background removal uses @imgly/background-removal (AGPL-3.0) and ONNX Runtime Web. In line with that licence, the source code of this site is publicly available.
