How to use it
- Add images — you can drop dozens at once.
- Choose the output format: keep the original, JPG, WebP or AVIF.
- Set the quality, or switch to “Target size” and enter the maximum size in KB.
- Compare sizes in the list and download individual files or a ZIP.
Which format compresses best?
WebP is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at similar quality and is supported by all modern browsers. AVIF is smaller still, but encoding is slower and not every browser can create it. JPG is the safest choice for compatibility.
PNG is lossless, so re-saving a PNG rarely helps; convert it to WebP for a big reduction while keeping transparency.
Need a file under 100 KB or 1 MB?
Many forms limit attachment size. Choose Target size and enter the limit — the tool finds the highest quality that fits and, if necessary, reduces the dimensions slightly.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is decoded and processed by JavaScript and WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to our server, and the result is generated on your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page (and, for AI tools, the model) has loaded.
Will compression remove EXIF and GPS data?
Yes. Re-encoded images do not include metadata such as camera details or location, which is good for privacy.
What if the compressed file is bigger?
If the result would be larger than the original in the same format, the original file is kept and marked in the list.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No hard limit. Files are processed one by one in your browser; very large batches simply take longer.
