How to use it
- Drop your .heic or .heif files (or a whole folder from your phone).
- They are converted to JPG automatically.
- Adjust the quality if you want smaller files.
- Download each photo or all of them as a ZIP.
What is HEIC?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhone and iPad. It saves space, but many Windows programs, websites and online forms do not accept it. JPG works everywhere.
Converting on the iPhone itself
You can also change the iPhone camera to save JPG: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible. For photos you already have, use this converter.
Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is decoded and processed by JavaScript and WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to our server, and the result is generated on your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page (and, for AI tools, the model) has loaded.
Will I lose quality?
At the default quality (90%) the difference is not visible. Choose 95–100% for maximum quality or lower values for smaller files.
Can I convert HEIC to PNG or WebP?
Yes — choose PNG or WebP as the output format. Our general image converter offers even more formats.
Why is conversion slower than for JPG files?
Most browsers cannot decode HEIC natively, so a decoder runs in JavaScript. Safari decodes HEIC natively and is faster.
