Capture the stamp
- Stamp it firmly on clean white paper; make two or three prints and pick the sharpest.
- Scan at 300–600 dpi, or photograph it straight from above in daylight without shadows.
- Fill most of the frame with the stamp.
Remove the paper
- Open the logo background remover (solid colour method).
- Raise Tolerance until the paper texture disappears; stop before the thin lines of the stamp start to break.
- Download the PNG — it is cropped to the stamp automatically.
Size for documents
A typical round stamp is about 3.5–4 cm wide. At 300 dpi that is roughly 410–470 pixels; use Resize image if your file is much bigger, so documents stay light.
Use it responsibly
An image of a stamp is a visual element, not a security feature — anyone who receives the file can copy it. Keep the PNG private and for contracts use a proper electronic signature.
Frequently asked questions
Will the stamp colour stay the same?
Yes. Only the paper colour is removed, and the soft edges are cleaned so the ink keeps its colour on any background.
