Capture the signature
- Sign on clean white paper with a dark pen (black or dark blue, medium thickness).
- Photograph it in daylight, straight from above, without shadows of your hand or phone — or scan it.
- Fill most of the frame with the signature for the highest resolution.
Remove the paper
- Open the logo background remover — the solid-colour method is perfect for signatures.
- Increase Tolerance until the paper texture and grey shading disappear, but the thin parts of the strokes stay.
- Download the PNG, which is automatically cropped to the signature.
Insert it into documents
- Word: Insert → Pictures, then set text wrapping to “In front of text” to position it freely.
- Google Docs: Insert → Image → Upload, then choose “In front of text”.
- PDF: most PDF editors and viewers with a “Fill & Sign” feature let you add an image signature.
Legal note
An image of a handwritten signature is fine for everyday letters and many informal agreements, but it is not a qualified electronic signature. Contracts and official forms may require a qualified e-signature or another trusted method recognised in your country.
Frequently asked questions
How do I keep the signature private?
The image is processed only in your browser. Store the PNG securely and avoid sending it in editable formats to people you do not trust.
